Gorogoro: Central Michigan has never played LSU, but CMU coach Jim McElwain is familiar with the Tigers as Alabama’s attack coordinator (2008-11) and Florida head coach (2015-17). After missing the opening round in Missouri due to appendicitis, McElwain returned to the bystander on Saturday.

About Chippewa’s attack

The starter was pulled early against Robert Morris, but salmon, Nichols and Sullivan played a huge game when the CMU threw horror at Missouri. The salmon passed 295 yards. Nichols, a freshman at the 2020 Mid-American Conference, rushed 135 yards. Sullivan had eight catches with 102 yards and two TDs.

About Chipevas Defense

This unit is secured by Brown, a speedy 218-pound cannon that won the first team, All-MAC. Hairston is the first team in the consensus preseason, the All-MAC Pick, and Reed, one of the team’s top tacklers, is a four-year veteran starter on the back end.
