The Gulf Coast Humane Society has partnered with Caller-Times to showcase pets available each month in time for the summer.
These cats and dogs want an eternal home.
Crystal Gayle is a 3-year-old domestic short hair. She is calm and doesn’t care about other cats.
“She makes you hug her, but only when she wants you,” said kennel attendant Connie Guerrero.
Fuzzy is a 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog / Irish Setter mix. He is full of energy and loves to play.
“Fuzzy is playful, energetic and has a very flashy personality,” said kennel attendant Amy Sanders.
Mr. T has a 4-year-old domestic short hair. He welcomes new people and loves to rub his head against their feet.
“When he leaves the shelter, he should be good indoors and outdoors,” Guerrero said.
Lindy Lu is a 6 year old Rottweiler mix. She is very calm and can be a little shy around new people.
“Lindy Lou is pretty timid, calm, sweet and very mellow, but she hasn’t really shown her personality yet,” said behavioral dog trainer Blanca Reyes Chavaria. rice field.
Philip has 6 months old domestic short hair. He is pretty shy at first and is accustomed to being with all his brothers.
“Philip can’t hug him yet, but he’s really fun, affectionate, and adventurous,” Guerrero said.
Whiskey is a Labrador retriever mix from a year ago. He loves playing in the water and becoming a pet.
“He’s a snuggling insect and a cutie’s pie. He’s afraid of children and angry with other dogs,” Sanders said.
Mamma Taffy is a 3-year-old domestic medium hair. She loves to be a queen bee.
“Mama Tuffy is awesome, she’s so loving, she makes you love her, she’s sitting on your lap,” Guerrero said, “but she’s another cat or It ’s not good with a dog. ”
Panque is a terrier mix two years ago. She may be a little shy around new people, but she loves to be hugged.
“Panques love kids, are very good and big lovers,” Sanders said.
Sae Yamamoto is 6 years old with long domestic hair. She loves to be the main cat and likes to lie down.
“Sae Yamamoto, if someone can get out of the kennel and understand her temperament, she’ll be fine,” Guerrero said.
