Nashville, Tennessee (WSMV)-Cheekwood Estate & Gardens has announced the resurgence of Holiday LIGHTS from November 20th to January 9th, 2022.

Tickets for the annual festival, which has become a holiday tradition for Nashville residents and visitors, are now on sale as the 55-acre botanical garden is illuminated by a vibrant display of over one million lights.

Peter Grimaldi, Vice President of Teakwood Gardens & Facilities, said in a news release: “We are particularly excited to add a whimsical peppermint path and a tunnel of sparkling light to the Bradford Robertson Color Garden.”

Teakwood also introduces new elements to the “Children’s Wonderland” experience at the Blacken Foundation Children’s Garden. A canopy tree covered with drip lights and a sparkling chandelier above the Grandis Carlet Studio Pavilion.

Also this year, the expansive Holiday Marketplace in the Great Hall of the Fristol Learning Center is home to day and night visitors with carefully selected tabletop and home decor, ornaments, nutcrackers and custom scents. You can shop for candles, winter accessories and children’s gifts. Of all ages.

In the historic mansion and museum, a 20-foot orchid tree adorned with tropical floral varieties will be the central setting of the loggia, complementing the decorative theme of this year’s mansion, “Plant Holidays.” Visitors will also enjoy more than 35 nutcracker dolls on display throughout the rooms of the era.

Cheekwood revives seasonal favorites such as two real reindeer, a s’mores station, and a reindeer village with Dancing Lights of TRAINS! screen. Santa isn’t on the scene during the holiday lights, but children can get a wishlist for Santa by visiting the Frist Learning Center to drop letters into Santa’s special mailbox.

Medical professionals, first responders, and military personnel use valid ID to serve up to five close relatives’ holiday lights on Monday night as part of Teakwood’s military and medical Monday. You can enjoy 50% off admission.

Seasonal festivals are held 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Timed admission ticket Must be purchased online in advance.
