Child thrown from balcony, man shot in southeast Las Vegas Valley, police say | News – Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas (FOX5)-Las Vegas police said a child was thrown from a third flood balcony and a man was shot dead in a valley in the southeast on Sunday night.

At around 4:44 pm on September 12, police responded to a Boulder Pines apartment complex on the Boulder Highway near Desert Inroad.

When the police arrived, police found a child who said he was “about seven years old” and took him to a nearby hospital in an unknown state.

Officers also found a man with a gunshot wound in his abdomen. He was also taken to a college medical center trauma in an unknown state.

“In a preliminary investigation, an adult man was shot by a member of the child’s family during the struggle after the child was thrown from the balcony on the third floor,” said Lieutenant Brian Bokler of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

According to police, all parties involved in the case were believed to be on the scene.
