City of Corpus Christi is almost done redoing these six streets – Riverside, California

Riverside, California 2021-04-30 15:32:33 –

This year was a busy year for Corpus Christi’s street construction.

However, driving around and commuting to do errands quickly becomes easy.

The city of Corpus Christi has completed the construction of six busy streets. The total construction cost of these projects is over $ 55 million.

“Unfortunately, there were delays and traffic problems due to the parallel work in several corridors,” said Jeff Edmonds, director of engineering for the city. “Reverting these should help alleviate some of the congestion people are experiencing.”

In January 2020, the city of Corpus Christi launched a $ 11.5 million reconstruction project for Morgan Avenue from Crosstown to Ocean Drive. Construction from Staples Street to Ocean Drive has been completed. The second half of the project, Crosstown and Staples Street, will be completed in the coming weeks.
