City of Tucson opens ‘Cooling Centers’ to help against heat wave – Tucson, Arizona

The city of Tucson has opened six air-conditioned cooling centers throughout the town, one in each ward, as the heat is expected to exceed 110 degrees Celsius throughout the week.

The center is open from noon to 6 pm on Fridays. The city will also resume them when the number of days reaches 110 degrees. Everyone is welcome. A mask is highly recommended.
