Wichita, Kansas (KSNW) – The city of Wichita announced on Thursday that certain facilities in Wichita will be closed and some entities will have special business hours to commemorate Thanksgiving.

Closed on Thursday, November 26: City Hall, Nearby Resource Center, Park & ​​Recreation Center, Wichita Public Library Location, Great Plains Nature Center, OJ Watson Park, Old Cow Town Museum, Wichita Museum, Mid-America All Indian Center, Century II Management Office, Wichita TIX Box office, transit management office, environmental hygiene office, water center, animal shelter, Brooksland Philharmonic, Riverside Tennis Center, Botanica, Municipal Golf Course.

Closed on Friday, November 27: City Hall, Neighborhood Resource Center, Park & ​​Recreation Center, Wichita Public Library Location, Great Plains Nature Center, Old Cow Town Museum, Mid America All Indian Center, Century II Management Office, Wichita TIX Box Office, Transit Management Office, Environmental hygiene office, water center, animal shelter.

Closed on Saturday, November 28: Great Plains Nature Center and Mid America All Indian Center.

Special time: There is no Wichita Transit or Paratransit service on Thursdays. The Wichita Transit service runs on Fridays and Saturdays according to Saturday’s schedule (6:30 am to 6:30 pm).

CityArts will be open by appointment from Monday, November 23rd to Wednesday, November 25th, and will be closed from November 26th to 29th.

The location of the Wichita Public Library will close at 5 pm on Wednesday, November 25th.
