City Schools will be released early Thursday at 12:00 pm for all schools without air conditioning or units being repaired. This decision was made because the combination of warm temperature and humidity can make some spaces in these buildings feel warm. The affected schools are: Baltimore Municipal University Benjamin Franklin High School Mason Bill Cove Calverton Elementary School / Junior High School City Springs Elementary School / Junior High School Collington Square Elementary School / Junior High School Cross Country Elementary School / Junior High School Curtis Bay Elementary School / Junior High School Utomarshburn Elementary School Franklin Square Elementary School / Junior High School Farley Elementary School Gilford Elementary School / Junior High School Harlem Park Elementary School / Junior High School Johnston Square Elementary School National Academy Foundation New Ella Academy Northwood. Coleman Elementary School Southwest Baltimore Charter School Vanguard University Junior High School Westport Academy Windsor Hills Elementary School / Junior High School Yorkwood Elementary School Youth Opportunity Mount Washington School (Building Below) Liberty Garrett Height sDallas F. Nichols Baltimore Montessori Public Charter School Empowerment Academy Midtown Academy This Notice Schools affected by will move to virtual learning and staff will move to home-based education. Dining areas at these schools will also be closed at 11:30 am. Transportation is provided to students. The school makes every effort to ensure that students have a takeaway lunch before they leave.
