Greenwood County, South Carolina (WSPA) – Cleaning is underway in Greenwood County on Monday afternoon after being damaged by strong winds.
The roof was peeled off, the trailer fell, and the power lines went down.
“I heard things hit the building and all the ceiling tiles started rattling,” said Ryan Grady, a Quality Nissan sales representative.
Ryan Grady was working at Nissan in Greenwood County when the sky suddenly darkened.
“The swelling thunder mixed with the sound of the train, and then we saw the debris flying,” explained Grady.
He told Seven News, he saw pieces of their sign flying and dented a lot of cars along the way.
“Many things were filled with small things. On the other side of the building, the windows were blown from the car and it was badly damaged,” said Grady.
But the sales manager there said the damaged car could be repaired. In addition, he was more focused on customers, employees, and keeping them safe.
“Everyone knew it was safe because everyone was centralized. That was our number one priority,” said Chris Crosby, Nissan’s Quality Sales Manager. ..
Chris Crosby told us that no one was injured when the storm struck their property.
But like some other companies in the area, they are preparing a cleanup day to come on Tuesday.
