Cleveland Heights, Ohio (WJW) — Cleveland Heights Police are investigating an incident at Forest Hill Park on Friday night.
At around 7:30 pm, police responded to the park seeking reports that the vehicle was driving irregularly and firing.
Preliminary investigation revealed that after the vehicle broke through the fence and invaded the park, it continued to drive in the park and collided with two parked vehicles.
The driver then returned to the park, past the pavilion and into one of the baseball stadiums.
The vehicle was released from the police state while passing through the park, and at least two people shot it in an attempt to stop it.
The driver of the vehicle stopped and was detained.
Police said at this time no one was believed to have been hit or shot in the vehicle. There were reports that he was slightly injured trying to escape, but police said he was not seriously injured.
