A jury in the Jussie Smollett trial may file a proceeding as early as Wednesday.

Smoret has been accused of forging a racist and homosexual attack in January 2019.

The “empire” returned to the stand on Tuesday.

according to NBC Chicago, Smollett continued to deny that he was involved in the alleged attack.

Brothers Abil Osundairo and Orabinjo Osundairo claim to have helped Smollett plan a fake attack. Smollett called the accusation a “bold lie,” NBC Chicago reported.

The defense withdrew the proceedings on Tuesday and the jury was released for the day.

Closing arguments are scheduled to begin on Wednesday. When closing arguments are over, the jury will file a proceeding.

Smollett faces up to three years’ imprisonment if convicted.
