Cloudet reinforces tropical cyclones and rains Carolina before heading to the sea – Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky

After killing 13 people in Alabama, the Tropical Cyclone Claudette will be strengthened again, creating a dangerous situation in parts of North Carolina and South Carolina on Monday, after which it will be pushed east to the Atlantic Ocean.

According to Monday morning update National Hurricane Center, Claudette was re-strengthened to a tropical cyclone overnight. As of 5 am ET, Claudette was producing sustained winds up to 40 mph in eastern North Carolina.

NBC News The storm reports that it is expected to rain 1-2 inches on Carolina before it travels across the Atlantic Ocean.

by Associated Press, Claudette has already killed 13 people, including 10 children. Eight of those children were killed on Saturday in a horrific vehicle crash on the Alabama Interstate. Officials say wet road conditions from the claudette probably caused the crash.

The crash occurred about 35 miles south of Montgomery on Interstate 65. One of the vehicles involved was a van belonging to Tallapoosa County Girls Ranch, a youth home that provided a place for abandoned or abused school-age children to stay. The Associated Press reports that eight people in the vehicle were killed in the collision.

Elsewhere in Alabama, a 24-year-old man and a 3-year-old boy were killed when a tree fell to his home outside Tusacloosa.
