CNN’s John King revealed on Tuesday that he was immunocompromised.

King said in a panel discussion on his show “Inside Politics” that he suffered from multiple sclerosis, a disease of the central nervous system.

“I’m going to share a secret I’ve never told you, I’m immunocompromised,” King said. “I have multiple sclerosis, so thank you for being vaccinated.”

The panel was discussing how the death of General Colin Powell is likely to die from the complications of COVID-19 due to a stroke with myeloma, a cancer of plasma cells.

King emphasized the importance of vaccination to protect individuals and those around them.

“I don’t like the government telling me what to do. I don’t like my boss telling me what to do. In this case, that’s important,” King said. ..
