On Mondays, the fever rises in the 1950s and 1960s. Then, on Monday night, the cold front moves, snow increases in the mountains, and rain and snow mix in the plains. Many parts of the plain will turn into snow by Tuesday morning. In the Pikes Peak area, you can see a few inches of snow from this system.
