The first round of Colorado and Nashville series features two of the best defenses in the league of Kale McCarr and Roman Yoshi. But that is summarized as what it normally does in goaltending.

Avalanche has Darcy Kaempfer. He won his career best 37 games after being acquired from Arizona in the summer.

Predators will miss Youth Salos in the opening two games due to a leg injury. It’s a big blow after he won 38 games this season.

Predator’s has not decided on either David Rittich or Connor Instagram for backup.

Game 1 is Tuesday night in Denver.
