A Walmart store on the east side of Colorado Springs will temporarily close due to COVID-19 concerns.
According to a Walmart spokesperson, the store at 3201 E. Platte Ave was closed to the public at 2 p.m. Monday and will remain closed all day Tuesday, October 13.
During this time, a third-party specialist will disinfect the store. This time around, associates will also have time to restock shelves and prepare the store, according to the spokesperson.
The Walmart spokesperson’s statement also said that when the store reopens on Wednesday, October 14 at 7 a.m., they will continue to perform daily health checkups and temperature checks of each associate before each shift and at provide masks and gloves to associates.
