Colorado Springs, Colorado 2020-11-21 22:40:56 –

Salida, Colorado — Community members are gathering to bring awareness to the missing woman, Sae Yamamoto Morph, in Chaffee County.

More than six months have passed since Sae Yamamoto was reported missing on Mother’s Day – May 10. She reportedly left home alone to ride a bicycle and never returned. Her bike was recovered the same day, less than 0.5 miles away, her family told FOX21News.

At the annual Christmas tree decoration event at Riverside Park in Salida, members of the community who know Sae Yamamoto at a local ticket shop decorated the Sae Yamamoto tree with more than 200 ornaments.

“We still believe that we have to leave her name there, so we continue to do whatever we are asked for, and what we have decided is to have her name there. It will help keep it, “said Leewaye, owner of the factory salon and bodywork stysha.

“We just took a picture, Tish made angels and snowflakes, and we did all sorts of things,” said Deetta Wilson.

The tree lights will turn on on Friday, November 27th. The women who assembled the tree welcome others and add additional ornaments to the tree. The Salida Sunrise Rotary Club coordinates this annual event. Click here for more information on the Rotary Club of Salida.

Salida’s Factory Salon and Bodyworks are also collecting donations to bricks to be placed in the new skatepark to remind people that Sae Yamamoto is still missing. Click here for the salon website or call (719) 539-8589.

At the end of September, Sae Yamamoto’s brother Andy Mooreman led a six-day search and found evidence related to the disappearance of his sister. Hundreds of volunteers searched for 6,000 miles. According to the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office, the search ended without evidence related to the Sae Yamamoto case.

Investigators have not nominated suspects or interested persons and have not been arrested. The case of Sae Yamamoto Morph is still classified as missing. If you have information to help law enforcement agencies find Sae Yamamoto Morphs, please call 719-312-7530.

In the past, Morphs and family friends have advertised a $ 200,000 reward for information that could lead to a safe return for Sae Yamamoto. I have no questions.
