Colorado Springs — At the Community Forum on June 16th, we invite the public to provide ideas and opinions on the design and development of the Coleman Community Park.
The event will take place from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Coleman Park site near the intersection of Tutt Boulevard and Burns Road in eastern Colorado Springs. Currently, Coleman is a 70-acre, almost undeveloped site. This conference is the first in a series of at least three planned community forums to help inform the park’s master plan.
The Master Plan has three priority areas: creating an active sports hub, sand creek and nature integration, and community park amenities. The park is expected to rival the Memorial or John Benezia Community Park with a sports field and playground.
The opportunity for this open-air rally was originally scheduled for May 21, but was changed due to expected bad weather.
