The City of Boston’s Age Strong Commission submits to all interested institutions a proposal for a comprehensive hoarding program to comprehensively address the needs of Boston residents for clinical treatment of hoarding disorders and mitigation of confusion. I am calling.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) will begin on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 9 am EST, and the proposal will be submitted by the city by 5 pm EST on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Hoarding cases are primarily found in the elderly and are complex and often require continuous intervention by many city departments and partner organizations. This RFP is for assessing, intervening, and treating stocking disorders, including on-site assessment, crisis case management, personal and family counseling, tidying up, cleaning services (and management of programs including claim insurance companies). We are looking for a comprehensive and comprehensive solution. ).

Fairness is the core value of Mayor Michelle Wu and the City of Boston. Many of the inhabitants served are of low income and of color who lack the resources to access aid on their own.
