The contest begins on Friday, with a contest to name the latest resident at the top of Omaha’s Woodmen Life Tower, four female peregrine falcons.

The hawks were united on Thursday by the Bird of Prey Conservation Alliance.

The peregrine falcon family tree in the tower dates back to 1992, when the first breeding and cohesion of peregrine falcon chicks took place in the tower.

Since then, 93 falcons have hatched there.

Hawk naming contest will be held Here Friday noon.

The general public can enter a group of 4 people until noon on Friday, June 4th.

Your company’s WoodmenLife committee will review and decide on the top five groups of names that will be voted on by the general public on Facebook.

Voting begins at 12:00 pm on Thursday, June 10th and continues until 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 16th.

Winners will be announced on June 18th (Friday) This website..
