Nashville, Tennessee (WKRN) – A convicted murderer is about to be released from prison.
Joseph Webster has been behind the bar since 2005 with the killing of Leroy Owens in Nashville. Webster’s case was, in fact, one of the first cases taken up by General Glenn Funk’s “Conviction Review Unit,” a lawyer in the Nashville area.
Webster’s belief is overturned, as Funk confirmed in News 2, after examining new evidence containing DNA from Webster that did not match the DNA found in the weapon used to kill Owens. Probably.
According to Webster’s attorney Daniel Horwitz, his clients are grateful to those who have taken the time to review his case and confirm that his mistakes have been corrected.
