Las Vegas (FOX5) –Highway Patrol, Nevada wants witnesses to come forward who died early Saturday morning.
Around 2 am on June 5, NHP stated that an older silver or gray sedan was driving the US 95 south on the Boulder Highway offramp.
In front of the sedan, a man was crossing a north-facing ramp. Witnesses told authorities that the vehicle had a red light and collided with a pedestrian on a marked pedestrian crossing.
According to NHP, the video showed a car driving east on Lamb Boulevard from Boulder Highway, breaking the right headlamp and damaging the front end, NHP said.
The shot man was taken to Sunrise Hospital and died. The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified him as Edward John Garcia, 66. According to the coroner, he died from a blunt trauma in the accident.
