Coroner identifies man fatally shot in west Las Vegas after fight | News – Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas (FOX5)-Las Vegas police said a man was fatally shot during a battle in the West Valley early Saturday morning.

Police were called to Alpine Place’s 5400 block near Charleston Boulevard and Decatur Boulevard around 2 am on September 25th. There, police said he found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a university medical center where he died.

Police said the victims were fighting several unidentified men before the shooting. Investigation is ongoing.

The Clark County Coroners Office has identified the man as 34-year-old Edward Maurice Fitzgerald. He died of a gunshot wound in his chest in a murder, the coroner ruled.
