Corpus Christi Mayor Paulette M. Guajard joins more than 30 mayors from around the world to learn the latest management practices as part of the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative.

Guajardo was one of the 38 mayors selected to participate in an intensive education program offered by Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School teachers, and experts in Bloomberg Philanthropy’s global network.

The mayor attends daily classroom sessions focused on the latest management and leadership practices, using case studies and workshops developed at Harvard.

“We are honored to be one of the 38 mayors from the four continents selected for this Bloomberg Harvard Leadership Initiative,” Guajardo said in a statement. “We look forward to learning from leaders at Bloomberg Philanthropy, Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School. We are confident that this global network will bring back Corpus Christi’s innovative solutions.”
