If you’re excited to see Space Jam: The New Legacy this weekend, be prepared for Corpus Christi’s cameo.

A song titled “MVP” by the popular boy band Brock Hampton, founded by Corpus Christi-born Kevin Abstract, is included in the soundtrack to the new basketball movie.

Block Hampton will perform in New York City in May.They will appear on the prism stage on Saturday at 9:45 pm

The band participates in star-studded soundtracks, including works by Chance the Rapper, John Legend, Lil Uzi Vert, and Jonas Brothers.

Block Hampton was recorded on the soundtrack three months after the band’s sixth album, Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine.

Known for its edgy look and sound, BrockHampton has produced several chart-top albums since 2015.

“Space Jam: A New Legacy” is currently in theaters and HBO Max.
