The Greater Sacramento area has been curfewed since December 10, when the ICU capacity fell below 15%. The three-week order may have been lifted at the beginning of the year, but the area was unable to lift the stay-at-home order due to a surge in COVID-19 cases and a reduction in ICU capacity.
According to the state’s COVID-19 website, ICU availability in the Greater Sacramento region is only 9.4%, “not meeting the criteria for termination. [the] order. “In the area Alpine, Amador, Butte, Corsa, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, Sierra, Satter, Yoro, Yuba counties.
The city of Auburn, part of Nevada County, also posted on Tuesday, stating that the county’s health officials and the California Public Health Service have lifted the stay-at-home order in the area.

Personal care services such as hair salons, nail salons, tattoo parlors and piercing shops can be resumed indoors once the curfew is lifted.
