Cleveland (WJW) —Country singer Chase Rice is reportedly helping to enter the restaurant business and bring entertainment and eateries to Cleveland’s Flat East Bank by the end of the year.
A new spot called Welcome to the Farm, which is open in partnership with the Forward Hospitality Group (people behind FWD and Goodnight John Boy), is reportedly scheduled to open in December.
“We’ve been working on this for a while, but we’re excited to finally reveal the secret to everyone,” Ohio’s father, Rice, said in a press release. “I learned about another aspect of the entertainment and hospitality industry and was able to stamp things with Welcome to the Farm. I can’t wait to welcome everyone in December.”
Featuring a patio and not far from where Alley Cat is, the new 5,250-square-foot building is set to serve live music, along with bar food and drink. It has a capacity of 280 people.
Rice wasn’t the first country musician to bring a restaurant to Cleveland’s refurbished flat district. Rascal Flatts Plan And the Toby Keith-themed spot never paid off.
