Tucson, Arizona — Amphitheater Unified School District says there was a person at Ironwood Ridge High School who reported a positive COVID-19 test.

In a letter sent to the family on Friday, the district reported on COVID-19 with mitigation protocols such as wearing a face cover at school, maintaining proper physical distance from others, and regular hand washing. He states that he is taking steps to control the epidemic.

The Pima County Health Department has been informed of positive cases of conducting contact tracing and contacting people who may have been exposed.

We are pleased to inform you that the person who reported a positive COVID-19 test was at Ironwood Ridge High School. Notified to Pima County Health Department.
