Los Angeles (AP) — Chris Taylor, Virginia Beach Cox High School graduate, The Los Angeles Dodgers beat Atlanta 11-2 on Thursday night, dropping the Braves lead in the NL Championship Series to 3-2, hitting three home runs and driving in six runs.

AJ Pollock had two home runs and four RBIs for the Dodgers. The Dodgers have won seven consecutive post-season removal games dating back to last season. Game 6 will return to Atlanta on Saturday. Here, the Braves have two more chances to win their first trip to the World Series since 1999.

The desperate Dodgers lost 9-2 in Game 4, rapped eight hits by Max Fried’s third inning after collecting just four hits and threatening to lose. They ended up with a postseason game club record of 17.

The Dodgers reached the fried with four hits for the second time. Pollock hit a tie home run, and Taylor hit the first pitch he saw into the left fielder, putting the Dodgers in front. 3-2.

Taylor had a third RBI single to make it 4-2. He went deep into 5th place, sending 0-2 pitches from Chris Martin to the centerfield and extending the lead to 6-2.

Taylor returned home for the seventh time, putting Dylan Lee in the center left with two outs. The versatile veteran had the opportunity to rival the major league mark of four home runs in the game, but struck a swing to finish the eighth.

Albert Pujols was not only hugging, but also beating.

The 41-year-old Slugger rode the base three times, including walking, and scored twice with Taylor’s Homer. He notched two singles on his second start with his third and fourth hits in the postseason. He made two hits in the NL Division Series against San Francisco.

Pujols decided to greet his much younger teammates in a bear hug at Doug Out after a home run, and they kept him busy.

Los Angeles was sent off shortly after Joe Kelly in the opening round first allowed Freddie Freeman to hit a two-run homer, then got a clutch performance from the bullpen and tightened his right biceps 28 pitches later.

The combination of Evan Phillips, Alex Vesia, Brusdar Graterol, Blake Treinen, Corey Knebel and Kenley Jansen allowed the remaining three hits.

Atlanta’s Eddie Rosario returned home twice in Game 4’s NLCS’s second four-hit game, striking out and winning 2-4.

Freed pitched in his hometown and gave up 5 runs and 8 hits in the 42/3 innings. Left-handed hit 3 and walked 2.

In the feast or famine nature of the Dodgers’ assault, Cody Bellinger struck out 3-4 and NL batting champion Trea Turner 3-4 in the RBI single. However, Mookie Betts and Corey Seager were 2-10.
