Omaha, Nebraska (AP) — The Christian Bishop, which has been a good small center for Clayton for the past two years, is planning a transfer.

Bishop announced on Twitter that it will enter the NCAA Transfer Portal on Wednesday night.

“I think it’s best to make a decision with your family and then join the transfer portal to explore opportunities to grow as a player and as a person,” Bishop wrote. “Thanks to all Bluejay fans for supporting me and giving me a place to call home.”

The 6-foot-7,220-pound bishop averages 11 points and 6.4 rebounds as a junior, and his 68.1% of shooting ranks second on the school list with a single-season field goal rate. He has started all 62 games in the last two seasons.

He averaged 13 points and 10.3 rebounds in the Blue Jays’ three NCAA tournament games, winning double-doubles with wins at the University of California, Santa Barbara and Ohio.
