Cudahy Kicks Up Its Heels to Welcome Charleston Café – Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Milwaukee, Wisconsin 2020-11-20 10:09:21 –

Cudahy residents have long sought a coffee shop in the city, so it was delivered by the Piparo family, who had an entrepreneurial spirit in Cudahy. Charleston Café (3465 E. Layton Ave.) Opened in August with coffee drinks, bakeries, breakfast items, pizzas, paninis, wraps, sandwiches, soups and salads. Since then, we’ve added products such as Italian soda and French soda (Italian soda with a small amount of cream) in various flavors such as wild grapes, desert pears, raspberries ($ 1.90-2.10), like a child. Added autumn specials. Apple cider.

The cafe is themed on the warm and cozy Roaring Twenties. The eye-catching copper floor is made of penny. The beautifully landscaped patio provides a socially remote outdoor dining space on a calm autumn day. Charleston Café offers Wonderstate Coffee (formerly Kickapoo) for $ 1.75 with a 12-ounce house drip. Espresso, latte, mocha, cappuccino, iced or frozen coffee are also available for 12, 16, or 20 ounce servings ($ 3.05 to $ 5.10).

Many foods have fun names inspired by the 20s, such as Model A ($ 8.50), turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, spinach, and sun-dried tomato panini. Flapper ($ 6.75) Panini featuring grilled lime jalapeno chicken; Lindy hop pizza topped with vegetables ($ 8.50, $ 10.25). There are many vegetarian and vegan options. The bakery is supplied by Subrosa and the East Side Oven. Look for beer and wine that will be added soon.
