On Tuesday, the Wisconsin Department of Health reported an additional 1,153 new COVID-19 cases. The state had an average of 1,381 new cases per day last week.

There were 115 new cases on this day last year, averaging 73 cases per day for 7 days. In 2020, 317 cases were recorded, with an average of 424 cases per day for 7 days.

No new deaths have been recorded, adding a total of four deaths to the Health Services Department’s system, bringing the total death toll in Wisconsin to 14,778. Delays in reporting deaths across the state are affecting these numbers.

In Milwaukee County, 241 new confirmed cases have been reported, with a total of 292,254 cases reported in the county since the pandemic began. The county’s seven-day average is 267 per day. One death was due to Milwaukee County, and the county has died 2,323 since the pandemic began.
