On Wednesday, the Wisconsin Department of Health reported an additional 1,787 new COVID-19 cases. The state had an average of 1,393 new cases per day last week.

There were 75 new cases on this day last year, averaging 70 per day for 7 days. In 2020, 575 cases were recorded, with an average of 469 cases per day for 7 days.

No new deaths have been recorded, adding a total of 10 deaths to the Health Services Department’s system, bringing the total death toll in Wisconsin to 14,792. Delays in reporting deaths across the state are affecting these numbers.

In Milwaukee County, 384 new confirmed cases have been reported, with a total of 292,619 cases reported in the county since the pandemic began. The county’s seven-day average is 274 cases per day. One death was due to Milwaukee County, and the county has died 2,324 since the pandemic began.
