On Monday, the Wisconsin Department of Health reported an additional 766 new COVID-19 cases. The state had an average of 1,413 new cases per day last week.

There were 38 new cases on this day last year, averaging 71 cases per day for 7 days. In 2020, 556 cases were recorded, with an average of 389 cases per day for 7 days.

There were no new deaths recorded or added to the Health Services Department’s system, with a total of 14,772 deaths in Wisconsin. Delays in reporting deaths across the state are affecting these numbers.

In Milwaukee County, 136 new confirmed cases have been reported, with a total of 292,048 cases reported in the county since the pandemic began. The county’s seven-day average is 273 cases per day. There were no deaths due to Milwaukee County, and the county has died 2,323 since the pandemic began.
