On Friday, the Wisconsin Department of Health reported an additional 135 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases. The state had an average of 121 new cases per day last week.
The state reported two new deaths, with Wisconsin’s death toll reaching 7,196.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 3,637 active cases (1.2%) out of a total of 611,534 cases. Patients recovered in about 97.9% (600,403 cases) of all cases. Patients who were considered to have recovered had no symptoms of COVID-19 or had been tested positive for 30 days.
In Milwaukee County, 36 new positive tests were reported, bringing the total number of cases to 107,250. The county’s 7-day average is 30 cases per day. There are no new deaths in Milwaukee County, bringing the total to 1,361 since the outbreak of the pandemic.
