On Wednesday, the Wisconsin Department of Health reported an additional 1,976 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases. The state had an average of 1,588 new cases per day last week.

There were 857 new confirmed cases on this day last year, with an average of 886 new cases per day for the week.

The state reported 19 new deaths, with Wisconsin’s death toll reaching 7,686.

In Milwaukee County alone, 368 new confirmed cases have been reported, for a total of 121,525 cases since the pandemic began. The county’s seven-day average is 283 cases per day. No new deaths have been reported in Milwaukee County, with 1,438 deaths since the pandemic began.
