Danville, Kentucky (LEX 18) — The Danville Police Department is seeking the help of the general public in investigating a series of incidents in which a person or car hit a polka dot projectile.

Danville police told LEX18 that police had seized several SplatR Ball blasters that they believed were used in the case.

Police officers focused on several suspects who may be involved. The sergeant told LEX18 on the phone that the suspects ranged from “young individuals to two young adults.”

No one was injured in the incident, but police warn that shooting polka dots at close range could result in serious injury.

Police said potential charges against the suspect could include the risk of assault and frustration.

Anyone with information about the incident will be asked to contact the Danville Police Department at 859-238-1224.
