Dassault Mirage F1 aircraft involved in Las Vegas crash – Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas (KTNV) — The moment we took off from Nellis Air Force Base on May 24, the Dassault Mirage F-1 owned and operated by US Draken crashed in the backyard of our Las Vegas home.

Nellis Air Force Base confirmed that the plane contracted by the military took off from the base at around 2:30 pm.

The Dassault Mirage F1 is a French fighter and attack aircraft designed and manufactured by Dassault Airlines.

These types of planes are used to conduct combat training at Nellis Air Force Base and act as attack aircraft to assist pilot training.

Draken has acquired 20 former Spanish Air Force Mirage F1M and two F1B aircraft for use in the role of the enemy Air Force in support of the US Air Force.
