Nashville (WSMV)-Davidson County police arrested three people on Wednesday night after a traffic stop at Ford Explorer, which travels 60 mph in a 40 mph zone.
According to a police statement, police stopped a car with five people on Ed Temple and Walter S. Davis Boulevard.
The detective arrested Ricardo Deleon, 18, who saw him carrying a firearm with an extended magazine the night before surveillance.
Police also said they had arrested Keriesha Majors, 26, who had been detained for the October 2019 murder of her girlfriend at 2400 Buena Vista Pike.
In a statement, Major told police that Smith & Wesson’s .40 caliber firearm had been stolen in the car. She was later charged with theft of firearms.
Police said they had arrested Tywan Hatcher, 25, who had five unresolved warrants against him at the time.
Hatcher was charged with avoiding felony, violating probation of felony, stealing felony, failing to appear felony, and violating probation of community correction.
Deleon was charged with possession of controlled substances and weapons while driving under the influence of alcohol.
The Ford Explorer driver was given a traffic ticket, but the fifth was released without charge.
