Waverly, TN (WTVF) — Individuals and families affected by the August 21 flood this year will need to apply for FEMA assistance until Monday, October 25, next week.

Federal support is available to residents of Dixon, Hickman, Houston, and Humphreys County, affected by heavy storms and floods. Assistance may include temporary housing grants, repairs, and other uninsured losses.

With the addition of Houston and Humphrey County to the NFIP, residents of unincorporated communities previously licensed by the National Flood Insurance Program may be eligible for FEMA support. If you’re from one of the previously licensed communities, but have already applied for FEMA support, you don’t need to reapply.
