Death of son and mother at Petco Park “suspicious” – Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky

San Diego — Woman and her son Fallen to their death on saturday Police have described it as “suspicious” in the incident from the third floor of Petco Park in San Diego to the sidewalk below.

The incident occurred just before 4 pm local time in Park Boulevard, just before the San Diego Padres confronted the Atlanta Braves.

According to San Diego Police, a 40-year-old woman and a 2-year-old child jumped or fell from the dining section near the stadium’s 300 concourse area about 15 minutes before the opening ceremony.

Emergency personnel on the scene tried to provide treatment, but they were both declared dead.

The names of the victims have not yet been made publicly available.

SDPD says with great care their murder unit was called to the scene.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of life at Petco Park last night. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the people involved,” Padres said in a statement on Sunday morning. “We will continue to refrain from commenting on the nature of the case as it is an ongoing investigation by the San Diego police.”

“This is deeply sad, annoying and painful not only for the family, but for San Diego as a whole. We all pray for this mother and her child’s family, especially during these difficult times.” People’s Justice Defenders Association and San Diego Civic Theater.
