A criminal accusation identified the passenger as Asiel Christian Norton.

Flight attendants and passengers took control of Norton and took him to the rear of the aircraft. Once on the ground, Albuquerque FBI agents responded.

Criminal accusations allege that Norton “illegally and deliberately assaulted and threatened the crew.”

Flight attendants told investigators that Norton did not appear to be affected and was not served alcohol during the flight.

Norton will appear in federal court in New Mexico on Tuesday morning.
