For the next six years, the city has booked new licenses for social equity applicants.
Colorado defines “social equity applicants” as those who were previously convicted of marijuana and / or members of the community targeted by the war on drugs.
Social equity applicant Laron Bradford said he considers this approach to increasing the diversity of the marijuana industry to be a game changer.

Bradford has been working in the marijuana industry since 2009.
