Denver restaurant Smok opens location in Fort Colins – Denver, Colorado

Smoke opened its place on Monday in Fort Collins, the Foothills shopping district.

This is the third site of the barbecue restaurant and the first site outside the Denver base. Three years ago, the chain stores are located at RiNo and Junction Food Hall.

Executive chef and owner Bill Espiricueta collaborated with chef Steve Redzikowski at Acorn in Denver and Oak in Boulder. Prior to that, he worked at Nobu in Dallas and Bluestem in Kansas City, Missouri.

Smōk’s rotation menu includes charred edges, turkey, pork ribs, chicken, brisket, wings, sausages, smoked meat sandwiches, and “southern-influenced sides.” [and] Homemade pickles, “said the press release.

“Chefville has high expectations for chefs in fine dining restaurants, creating a relaxed barbecue joint atmosphere,” said the release.

Drinks include beer, “lively slashes, balanced cocktails”. The restaurant and patio have 8 TVs and rooms for 155 people.
