Kansas City, MO — One person was injured in a vehicle crash on Kansas Highway 10 between East 1900 Road and East 23 Street on Sunday morning.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the agent initially responded to the accident report at around 5:49 am.
Upon arrival, the agent determined that the two drivers were involved in a rear-end collision.
One of those vehicles was stuck on the road, so the victims who were driving tried to get out of their vehicle and help.
While they were doing so, they were attacked by another vehicle driving west on the K-10.
The victim was seriously injured and transferred to the Overland Park Community Medical Center.
While they were investigating, the agent closed the westbound lane of the area.
