Deputy fatally shoots suspect who broke into school, took deputy’s firearm – Cleveland, Ohio

Coshocton, Ohio (WCMH) —Saturday morning, a deputy coshocton county sheriff shot dead the suspect.

According to the sheriff’s office, after the man was allegedly kicking the door to enter the building, the agent 911 against a man in Los Cours School, 300 blocks on North Whitewoman Street, around 10:57 am. I received a call.

Congressmen encountered the man in the building, and the fight continued as they tried to detain him. The sheriff’s office said during a quarrel that a suspect identified as Coshocton’s Luke J. Longeretta, 32, had gained control of secondary weapons.

Longeretta continued to resist the arrest and pointed his gun at the legislators. According to the sheriff’s office, one of the lawmakers took evasive action, fired a weapon and attacked Longeretta.

Agents began conducting CPR in Longeretta until emergency medical personnel arrived. Longeretta was then taken to the Coshocton Community Medical Center and later sentenced to death in the hospital.

The Ohio Criminal Investigation Department is investigating the case.

The members involved have been on leave and their names have been withheld until the results of the investigation are available.
