Fresno, California 2021-09-17 10:40:07 –

New York-Derek Hough has entered his second season as a judge for “Dancing with the Stars”.

He has already participated in the full panel, including Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman.

What is his only concern? “I’m a little worried about the time to talk,” Huff said. “Because I started last season, I have a lot to say and a lot of notes, so let’s go. Through the list, but because it’s a live TV, we need to keep it concise.”

What the viewer is sure to notice is how different Huff’s tastes in dance are from Goodman’s tastes.

“I’m about breaking certain rules, and he’s talking more about the rules,” Huff said.

When it comes to celebrity contestants, he said you really can’t count anyone as a front runner.

“You think this person, maybe this person may have a good start, or a top candidate, and then the premiere happens and it all goes out of the window,” Huff said.

However, there are some athletes who are most looking forward to seeing the dance at the big premiere.

“Mel C. I think she’s like a pop royal family. I’ve lived in Britain for 10 years and I’m definitely a British royal family. I’m really looking forward to seeing her. Jojo Wrinkle Suni Lee and Matt James of “The Batchelor” will be great. Many good people not mentioned here are absolute top candidates, so let’s take a look. “Huff said.
Tyra Banks is back as a host for the second season, and Huff says he loves to work with her.

“She is very kind and very graceful,” he said. “I’m always looking forward to the legitimate walkdown to the show, the costumes we were doing, and what we’re working on. It just sets the tone for the rest of the show.”

Huff said fans have a chance to see him perform a special dance this season, but he says it’s still underway.

He remains very busy between the “Dancing with the Stars” review and his new Las Vegas settlement.

“I’m a resident at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, so I do shows five times a week and at the same time judge the” Dancing with the Stars, “so I go back and forth,” Huff said. .. “So now I feel like where to put this, where to choreograph it, and how to make it.”

Don’t miss the Big Season 30 premiere of “Dancing with the Stars” at ABC on September 20th at 8pm this Monday!
