DETR and Gov. Steve Sisolak to host JobFest 2021 in Las Vegas – Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas (KTNV) —In an ongoing pandemic recovery effort across Nevada, Governor Sisorak is co-sponsoring JobFest 2021 in collaboration with the Department of Employment Training and Rehabilitation (DETR) and the Department of Economic Development (GOED).

The event is packed with resources and support services from skill training to childcare.

JobFest 2021 will take place on December 7th from 9am to 2pm at the Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall at 3150 Paradise Rd.

Free parking and admission.

The Las Vegas Convention Center’s Tesla Loop will also be operational that day for attendees to use.

It is expected that more than 110 employers will hire more than 10,000 jobs.

Many people will hire you on the fly, so be sure to have your current resume and outfit to impress.

“Every day, more employers are signing up to join our JobFest. They are ready to help us get the Nevadas to work. Nevada is COVID-19. There is no more important priority for me than recovering from a pandemic, “said Governor Steve Sisolak. “Our state government is focused on creating high-paying employment opportunities and connecting Nevadans with the skills and resources needed for these jobs.”
