Kansas City, MO — Douglas County Sheriff’s Office helps the public to identify drivers and their vehicles after an accident occurred at 1300 block on East 1900 Road around 5:15 pm on Saturday. I am seeking.
Police responded to reports of two vehicles colliding at a ramp on the Kansas 10 Highway between Lawrence and Eudra.
A motorcycle and a “white delivery van” were involved in a collision.
According to police, the van entered the intersection at the top of the off-ramp eastward from K-10 as a 54-year-old man and a 9-year-old girl riding a motorcycle were heading north as they approached the overpass.
After that, the van collided with the motorcycle and the motorcycle fell.
Both men and women were taken to a local hospital.
The man’s injury was described as “serious but not life-threatening,” and the girl in a helmet was “seriously injured” reported by the sheriff’s office in a stable condition.
Witnesses at the scene told police that the driver of the white delivery van had escaped from the scene after the accident and left the front bumper before heading east on the K-10.
No vans have been found and the sheriff’s office remains on site for investigation on Saturday night.
And for the duration of the investigation, the off-ramp to the east from K-10 will remain closed.
Anyone who can assist in identifying the driver and vehicle will be asked to call the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (785-843-0250) and Reference Case D22-09801.
