MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) — New COVID-19 cases in South Carolina continue to grow, and the state sees a daily increase in over 250 new cases.

According to information released Thursday by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environment, there were 1,243 new confirmed cases and 67 potential new cases in the state. The department announced 987 new confirmed cases the day before.
